Guild of Champions Community Guidelines

Welcome to the Guild. This is a space built to help you do your final weight loss journey, all the way to the last pound. Here we support lifestyle change, mindset work, emotional resilience, and identity transformation. This community is intentionally crafted to be supportive, real, and growth-minded.

To keep it that way, here’s what we expect.

Lead with Respect and Kindness

We’re all here because we’re trying to change. Kindness isn’t just encouraged—it’s required.
Speak with compassion. Assume good intent. No shame, blame, bullying, or dogpiling. Ever.

Support, Not Medical Advice

This isn’t a substitute for therapy, a doctor’s visit, or expert medical care. Please don’t diagnose,
prescribe, or give medical or therapeutic advice. If someone shares a health concern, the best
support you can offer is encouragement and a reminder to consult a licensed professional.

Gender-Specific Topics: Keep It Weight-Relevant

Yes, you can talk about things like menopause, hormonal shifts, cycles, or testosterone. These
are real parts of the weight loss journey for many.
Keep it clearly tied to weight loss, emotional eating, or habit change.

For example:

Appropriate: Menopause is affecting my sleep and I’ve noticed it’s making emotional
eating harder.
Inappropriate: I’m struggling with vaginal dryness and don’t know what to do.

We aim to focus more on our shared experience than on what separates us. Everyone has
nuance in their story but let’s keep the spotlight on what unites us in our shared goal of
transformation.

Let Conversations Evolve—But Stay on Track

This is not a community for anything and everything. It’s for sustainable weight loss, emotional
eating recovery, habit change, mindset shifts, and the journey of becoming thin.
It’s okay to talk about life stuff but keep the through-line anchored in your transformation work.
That keeps the space focused, useful, and safe from misinformation.

Politics and Religion: Handle with Care

We don’t avoid hard topics—but we do avoid turning this into a battleground.
Politics and religion can come up only when they directly relate to your weight loss journey
(e.g., “the news is triggering emotional eating” or “I use prayer to regulate stress”).
No virtue signaling. No recruiting. No proselytizing, No debating policies or ideologies of
political parties or government affairs unless there is a clear connection to the work the Guild is
helping people do. The Guild is a space for personal transformation, not public discourse on
the rest of the world.

Marco Polo Group

Nuclear Posts

The use of Nuclear Posts (posts made without having watched anything) is okay, but make sure
you are also engaging in the community.
It would be wise to make sure a conversation is not currently underway. You might be
disrupting a deep conversation. So check out the last couple of polo’s to make sure you’re not
interrupting something. If no one has posted in the last 1 hour you’re welcome to post as if a
conversation is not currently going on.

Post Limits

To support community rhythm and accessibility we have some restrictions on the length of
polos. Let’s be real. Anything over 10 minutes is a podcast.

• In All Marco Polo groups (except Guild Warrior Pack):
o No single polo may exceed 10 minutes.
o Max of 2 consecutive polos (totaling no more than 10 minutes combined)
o Polos that exceed this may be deleted by moderators.

• Guild Warrior Pack:
o Max length per polo: 3 minutes
o Max of 2 consecutive polos (totaling no more than 6 minutes)

If you want to go deeper have longer conversations, consider creating a ShareCast or OSP
group.

Engage, Don’t Perform

This community and its platforms isn’t a stage it’s a support circle. Share your story, yes. But
also show up for others. Reciprocity keeps our culture strong. If you want to be heard, be
someone who listens, too.

Ask Before You Advise

Sometimes people just need a safe space to be heard. Before you jump in with advice or
reframes, ask if it’s wanted. Support doesn’t always mean solving. Sometimes it just means
creating space for a person’s thoughts, feelings, and emotions. They sometimes just wish to be
seen.

Don’t “Should” All Over Each Other

A core value in the Guild is Preserve each other’s agency.
That means avoiding phrases like “You should do XYZ” or “You need to just...” unless you’re a
designated coach or subject matter expert.
You’re encouraged to actively share experiences, offer ideas, or lend perspective but let
others choose their path.
Instead of saying: “You should start walking every morning.”
Try something like: “Something that helped me was going on short walks each morning. It
might be worth considering.”
See the difference? One preserves choice. One dictates action.
If you feel strongly that there’s a clear “right answer,” the most helpful thing you can do is tag a
coach, reference Guild resources, or link a podcast or lesson. That way, the advice is
anchored to expert guidance and you’re not taking on the responsibility of directing someone’s
path.
Coaches and community leaders have been given consent to step into an advisory role. If
you’re not one of those people, focus on being a helpful peer, not a fixer.
This small shift creates big trust and keeps this community safe, empowering, and open.

No Diet Culture Nonsense

This community is rooted in reality, not restriction. Truth matters more than being right. Please
avoid:
1. Promoting fad diets or extreme plans
2. Labeling foods as “good” or “bad”
3. Endorsing unproven products or weight loss gimmicks
4. If you make bold assertions publicly you should expect to be publicly corrected if you’re
wrong. So make public claims of “diet” facts at your own caution.

Honor Privacy

What happens here stays here. No screenshots, no reposts, no leaks. This is a place where
people share their real selves. Don’t violate that trust. If you do you will be removed from the
Guild and no refunds will be provided on paid membership dues.
Do not seek out a persons contact information. If you want to communicate with a guild
member you should do so in Guild resources. If you take the conversation off of Guild
communication tools you will then be on your own adventure and now it’s a conversation
between adults and you will have to police your own conversations.
No one is under any obligation to reveal private details about themselves especially their
contact information.
If you have someone’s cell number, email, or address DO NOT SHARE IT WITHOUT EXPRESS
PERMISSION FROM THE OWNER OF THAT INFORMATION.

Community Positions

Within the community there are multiple roles that individuals may fill.
The available roles are as follows: coach, ambassador, and moderator.
These positions within the community are designated through a thorough vetting and selection
process. To avoid any potential confusion, please refrain from using any of these specific titles
for yourself, unless you have been officially designated as such.

No Self-Promotion or Outside Pitches

Please refrain from pitching your services, linking to your business, or promoting unrelated
products unless you have been given express permission to do so. Please refrain from posting
affiliate links, external programs, or promotional content.
Sharing personal information, such as an individual Instagram channel, is permissible.
However, content shared on Guild platforms must receive a Chris Terrell Coaching Endorsed
Provider (CTCEP) designation if it is intended to generate revenue or establish an individual
brand image for future monetization.

No Coaching or Offering Coaching Unless Endorsed

Many people on this journey feel a strong desire to give back. It’s common to develop an
interest in coaching, personal training, nutrition, or other forms of guidance. That’s a beautiful
thing, but the Guild is not a free-for-all marketplace.
To protect the integrity of the community and the safety of its members, no coaching, personal
training, nutrition services, or other paid or unpaid offers may be made within the Guild without
express permission. Only individuals who have been formally recognized as Chris Terrell Coaching Endorsed
Providers (CTCEP) are authorized to offer services of any kind inside the Guild. If someone is
not a CTCEP, they are not permitted to offer, promote, or provide coaching, whether free or
paid.
If someone approaches you about services and they are not a CTCEP, please report it
immediately using the platform’s reporting tools or by contacting [email protected].
Violations of this policy may result in immediate removal from the Guild without a refund.
This boundary helps keep the Guild a safe, focused, and aligned space for transformation.

See Something? Report It

If you spot something that feels off, please don’t confront the person directly. Use the
platform’s reporting tool or message the support team at
[email protected]
We may or may not follow up with you. We handle all moderation with care, discretion, and a
preference for privacy. But if someone repeatedly violates the rules, they will be removed from
the community—immediately and without refund.

Final Word

We’re not trying to control every little thing. Organic connection matters. But for this to work,
we all need to share the responsibility of keeping the Guild a powerful, focused, and
emotionally safe space.
Thanks for doing your part.
