How do I get connected with the Guild community?
The support of the community plays a vital role in the success of your weight loss journey:
- It's a source of encouragement during tough times and a celebration of your successes.
- There's understanding, empathy, and shared experiences that come from being part of a supportive community.
- Motivation and shared wisdom make the journey less overwhelming.
- When others are cheering you on, it creates a sense of belonging and strengthens your commitment to your well-being.

Do I need to buy a journal?
The short answer: Yes.
Why should you buy a journal?
Early in his journey, Chris discovered journaling.
It was a critical part of helping him develop a positive attitude and reconciliation with his past self. Acceptance and forgiveness.
Through journaling, he was able to look at why he was stuck in the endless cycle of dieting. By reflecting on his inner experiences through writing, he gained insight into his behaviors and habits, and was able to identify any obstacles or mental barriers that may have hindered his progress.
He was able to explore questions about his core beliefs and paradigms. He was able to deconstruct his thoughts and separate the why from the what and the how on paper.
Chris used journaling as a way to process his thoughts and emotions, which helped him get into the right mindset for losing weight and achieving his goals.
Chris incorporates journaling into most of his classes and trainings. He gets members more comfortable asking themselves the tough questions to develop the deepest level of understanding of themselves.

Welcome to the Guild!
As a new member, you'll quickly notice that we have our own unique language and culture. These phrases and terms are more than just words; they represent our shared values, mindset, and the supportive community we've built together.
Here’s a list to help you understand our approach to life and weight loss:
Motivation and Mindset:
- 10 Habits: Refers to Chris terrell's 10 foundational habits for success that he used on his own journey.
- Because I am a professional: Approach your goals and tasks with professionalism and dedication.
- Fail forward: Learn from failures and use them as stepping stones to success.
- Fall down seven times, get up eight: Emphasize resilience and persistence in the face of challenges.
- I can do hard things!!: Affirmation of one’s ability to tackle difficult tasks.
- It takes as long as it takes: Emphasize patience and persistence; the process will take the time it needs.
- LEVEL UP!: Improve or advance to a higher level in your journey.
- Nothing to it but to do it: The only way to achieve something is to take action.
- Show up for yourself!: Prioritize your own needs and goals.
- Stinkin’ Thinkin’: Negative thinking that hinders progress.
Action and Strategy:
- Better in the trash than on your a$$!: It's better to discard unhealthy food than to eat it and hinder your progress.
- Burn the ships: Commit fully to your new path by eliminating old habits and mindsets that no longer serve you.
- Make decisions at decision time: Make thoughtful decisions when the time comes rather than acting impulsively.
- SO WHAT? NEXT PLAY!: Emphasize moving on quickly after a setback.

- Pivot: Make a change or adjust your strategy when needed.
- Plug the holes in your boat!: Identify and fix issues that are hindering progress.

Community and Culture:
- Crabs in a bucket: Refers to the phenomenon where people pull down anyone who achieves success, likened to crabs preventing one another from escaping a bucket.
- Got 🦀??: Likely refers to the crab mentality, where people pull others down to prevent them from succeeding.
- Nuclear post: Used in Marco Polo groups to indicate you haven't listened to any polos before posting.
- OSP: Only Supportive People - A term emphasizing the importance of a positive and encouraging community..
- Tacos are life: A humorous way to say that some foods are so enjoyable they become an essential part of life. (Chris loves tacos, y'all)
Achievements and Goals:
- NLVs - new LIFE victories: Celebrating non-scale victories or accomplishments that aren't directly related to weight.
- NSV: Non-Scale Victories - Celebrating achievements that aren't measured by weight.
- Onederland: Reaching a weight below 200 pounds.
- PB's: Personal Bests or Peanut Butter, referring to achieving your best performance in a given activity
Health and Fitness:
- Embrace the turtle: Accept and appreciate slow, steady progress.
- If it ain’t raining you ain’t training: Emphasizes the importance of persevering through tough conditions to train effectively.
- NEAT Movement: Non-Exercise Activity Thermogenesis, the energy expended for everything we do that is not sleeping, eating, or sports-like exercise.

Who are the Guild Ambassadors?
Meet Your Guild Ambassadors
The Guild Ambassadors are a passionate and diverse group of members who embody the spirit of what the Guild is all about. They’ve walked the path you’re on—some have completed their weight loss journey, others are mastering the transition phase, and some are still in the middle of their journey. They’re here to help you find clarity, direction, and connection, no matter where you are in your journey.

Marco Polo is a FREE video communication app that allows you to connect with Guild members in a private, ad-free space. It’s not social media—no likes, comparisons, or distractions. Send a video, get one back, and connect on your schedule.

There’s no need to purchase the Plus version unless you want additional features, which are entirely optional.
Considering Marco Polo Plus?

- $9.99/month for monthly billing
- With the annual subscription, you get 6 Plus Passes to give 2 free months of Plus to friends, family, or fellow Guild members.

Start with just a few groups. It’s easy to get overwhelmed, so take it slow and join the groups that resonate most with you. -
Respect Group Guidelines
Each group has its own focus and flow. Honor gender-specific groups, respect others’ posts, and contribute thoughtfully. -
Avoid too many "Nuclear Posts"
Before posting, take a moment to listen to the conversation. Jumping in without context can be jarring. If you need to share something big, that’s okay—just be mindful and ease into the discussion.

Turn Off Notifications if Overwhelmed
If notifications are too much, mute the conversation without leaving the group. You can always catch up later. -
Catch Up at Your Own Pace
There’s no rush! Watch and respond to videos when it works for you—Marco Polo is all about flexibility.

Respecting the Space and Each Other
- Don’t Let Marco Polo Consume You
While Marco Polo is a great tool for connection, remember not to let it take over your life. Keep it in perspective, just like social media, and take breaks when needed. - Respect Boundaries
Every group has its own focus—contribute in ways that add value and positivity. Stay on topic and don’t overwhelm the conversation. - Respect Others' Privacy
This is a safe space for everyone to share. It’s essential that you respect others' privacy—don’t gossip or share anything you hear in the group outside of the group. This helps everyone feel comfortable sharing openly and honestly. - Be Mindful of What You Share
Marco Polo groups are a shared space within the Guild community, so it’s important to be mindful of the topics you discuss, particularly in mixed-gender groups. Delicate topics, such as intimate matters, should be approached with care. Chris and the moderators of different genders may occasionally listen in, so please keep that in mind when sharing personal information..
Keep It Positive
Marco Polo is all about building a supportive community. Uplift others, share what works for you, and avoid telling people what they "should" do. No medical advice—share your experiences, but leave health issues to the professionals.

- Description: A 6-week "Data-Driven Weight Loss" program to guide members from zero to tracking calories. Ideal for beginners or those needing a reset.

Tuesday: Inner Circle Coaching*
- Description: Small group coaching for members who have lost at least 10 pounds in the last 6 months. Focuses on deeper strategies and maintaining momentum.

Wednesday: Neuro Shift Coaching

Guild Meeting Rebroadcasts
Join Our Live Rebroadcasts!
Missed a live session? No problem! Our rebroadcasts are the perfect way to stay connected and catch up on valuable content.
What You Can Expect:
- Live Replays with Other Members: Experience the energy of attending live, with other members joining the session.
- Limited Interaction: Rebroadcasts are hosted by a different team, so interaction with the host will be minimal and there is no Q&A option.
- No Chris During Rebroadcasts: To ensure direct interaction with Chris, you need to attend the live meetings. Rebroadcasts are managed by a separate team.
Important Notes:
- Rebroadcasts do not include hot seat coaching sessions or Monday coaching track meetings at this time.
- Breaks for holidays and vacations are included, so check the calendar!

How do I log into my Guild account on my browser?
Logging into your Guild account is simple!
For the best experience navigating resources, accessing lessons, and managing your membership, we recommend using a browser on your laptop or desktop.
Here’s how:
- Go to: www.theguildofchampions.com.
- Click the Login button in the top-right corner.
- Enter your email and password.
- Once logged in, you’ll have access to your courses, meeting replays, and resources.
For quick updates or on-the-go access, you can also use the Kajabi app or other community apps.
However, the browser experience is more comprehensive and user-friendly for detailed navigation.

How do I manage my Guild Membership/Subscription?
Managing your Guild membership or subscription is easy, but it must be done via a web browser (mobile or desktop).
🚫 You cannot manage your subscription through the Kajabi app.
Step-by-Step Instructions:
1️⃣ Go to the Login Page:
👉 Visit www.theguildofchampions.com in your web browser.
2️⃣ Log In:
👉 Click “I Am a Guild Member” and enter your email & password.
3️⃣ Access Account Settings:
👉 Click your profile icon (avatar) in the upper-right corner.
4️⃣ Navigate to Billing Info:
• Select Settings from the dropdown menu.
• Click Billing Info at the top of the page.
5️⃣ Manage Your Subscription:
• Find Guild Membership in your subscriptions list.
• Click the three dots (⋮) next to the product.
• Choose an option:
🔹 Update your credit card
🔹 Cancel your subscription
🔹 View your billing details
Important Notes:
✅ Subscription changes (cancellations, upgrades, etc.) take effect at the end of your billing cycle.

How do I update my Credit Card on File?
Updating your credit card on file is quick and easy. If your payment didn’t go through, don’t worry—you’ll receive a notification prompting you to update your payment details to ensure uninterrupted access. Here’s how to update your payment method:

Log In to Your Account on a WEB BROWSER OR DESKTOP ONLY:
Go to www.theguildofchampions.com and click the "I Am a Guild Member" button. Enter your email and password to log in. -
Access Your Settings:
- Once logged in, click your Customer Avatar (circle profile) in the top-right corner of the page.
- From the dropdown menu, select Settings.

Open Billing Info:
- In the Settings section, click on Billing Info located in the top-right corner.
- You’ll see your current payment details here.

Update Your Card:
- Click the three dots (⋮) next to your card information.
- Select Replace.
- Fill out the Replace Card prompt with your new payment details.

Save Your Changes:
- Once you’ve entered the new card information, click Update to apply and save your changes.
What Happens if a Payment Doesn’t Go Through?
While I’m unable to adjust the billing date, here’s how the process works if a payment fails:
- First Attempt: The system will try to process the payment on the scheduled date.
- Second Attempt: If it doesn’t go through, the system will try again 3 days later.
- Final Attempt: After another 3 days, the system will make a third and final attempt.
Cancellation: If the final payment attempt fails, your subscription will be canceled, and all access to Guild resources will be discontinued. This includes removal from the Guild Facebook group, Marco Polo groups, any additional programs you’re enrolled in, and other community platforms.
Important: Keep Your Rate Locked In!
If your subscription is canceled, you may not be able to rejoin at your original rate. Membership rates are subject to change, and your locked-in rate cannot be guaranteed.
To avoid losing your current rate and ensure uninterrupted access to the Guild, please make sure to keep your payment information updated using the steps above.

Does my Annual Membership Auto-Renew?
Yes, your annual membership will auto-renew at the rate you signed up with. It will not increase unless you cancel and rejoin at the current rate. You can check your billing date by logging into your Guild account through a browser or desktop. Go to Settings and then Billing to view your next renewal date.*

To check your billing date, follow these steps:
- On a desktop or browser, go to www.theguildofchampions.com.
- Select I am a Guild Member.
- Log into your Kajabi account.

How can I upgrade my Guild membership from Monthly to Annual?
Important Membership Update:
- Membership Pricing Update: Our membership prices were updated in 2025 for both monthly and annual plans.
- Your Current Rate: Your current rate is guaranteed and will not change unless you upgrade to the annual plan.
- Annual Plan Upgrade: If you upgrade, the annual plan will reflect the current 2025 pricing.
- No Discounts: At this time, we are not offering a "grandfathered" discount for existing members.

Cancel Your Current Monthly Membership:

After clicking Cancel, confirm your cancellation when prompted.

Upfront Payment:
You will be billed for the full annual amount immediately. -
Your Progress:
Your progress and data within the Guild will remain unchanged during this transition. -
Confirmation:
After completing your upgrade, you will receive a confirmation email, and your annual membership will be active.

What is the refund policy?
Due to the nature of this electronic product and the fact that it cannot be “returned”, we have a no refund policy. Within minutes of ordering, you will be able to download months worth of our effort and knowledge. There is no undoing that once you access the members area.
There will be no partial (or prorated) refunds on monthly payments. Cancellations will be effective on the end date of the current billing term.
Your access to all content will be revoked at the end of your billing cycle. You will also be removed from our Facebook group and any Marco Polo groups at the beginning of the next month after you cancel.
If you did not submit your cancellation request in time and the current month’s payment has already processed, we do not issue a refund for the current month.

What is the cancellation policy?
Guild of Champions Cancellation Instructions
You may cancel your membership at any time. Customer service does not process cancellations for you. Cancellation is a self-service process. Please review the following details before proceeding:
What Happens After Cancellation:
- Monthly Members: Your cancellation will take effect on the last day of your current billing term. Starting the first day of the following month, you will lose access to:
- The private Guild Facebook page.
- Any additional Guild programs you’re enrolled in. (Does not include Inner Circle)
- All Official Guild Marco Polo groups.
- Annual Members: Your access will remain active until your billing term ends. After that date, your access to all Guild resources will be revoked.
Important Notes for All Members:
- Refunds: There will be no partial (or prorated) refunds on monthly payments. Cancellations will be effective on the end date of the current billing term.
- Locked-In Rate: You will lose your original LOW locked-in rate when you cancel. If you choose to rejoin later, you will pay the current membership price, which may be higher than your original rate.
- No Pause Option: Memberships cannot be paused. If you cancel, you must wait for the next enrollment period to rejoin.
- Reversing Cancellation: If you change your mind, you can reverse your cancellation before the end of your current billing cycle. Email support@christerrellcoaching.com with the subject line: "I want to reverse my cancellation."
- Rejoining After Cancellation: If your membership ends, you’ll need to wait for the next enrollment period to rejoin. Your previous rate will NOT be reinstated.
